Available in one size – 11″ – 12″ square
This quilt is designed for babies to take with them and love.
The different textures of the tags and the fabric on the top and bottom of this little quilt are designed
to help develop their sense of touch and also to give them something soft and comforting to have with them.
Cindy: Thanks sew much for sharing this pattern. I have made 3 using minky on one side and flannel backed satin. I embroidered a design on the front of the minky and put a piece of tricot fusible interfacing on the back of it, using it for a stabilizer. They are wonderful. I gave one to my daughter’s friend and her son loved it. So did the mother remebering trailing around with her own larger blankie when she was young. The next 2 my daughter asked me to make for her husbands cousin who is due any day now.

Keep up the beautiful quilting!
I made one of these for my new grandson. Lettie has a tutorial on her blog: http://www.mousechirpy-polkadotpineapple.blogspot.com. She calls her version a Take-a-Long Tabbie. I used quilting cotton on one side, Minkee on the other, and made fabric tabs. Perhaps fabric tabs would be more durable for you.
